- Combine Marinade ingredients in large nonreactive bowl. Place beef steak and marinade in food -safe plastic bag; turn steak to coat. Close bag securely and marinate in refrigerator 6 hr. or as long as overnight, turning occasionally.
- Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade. Place steaks on grid over medium, ash-covered coals. Grill, covered, 5-8 Min. (over medium heat on preheated gas grill, 4-7 Min.) for medium rare (145°F) to doneness, turning once. Carve steak across the grain into thin slices. Garnish with cilantro, if desired.
