原料:
- 1 boneless beef top sirloin steak, cut 3/4-in. thick (about 1 lb.)
- 1 med. red onion, cut into 12 pieces
- 1/2 c. fig preserves, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
说明:
- Soak 4 10-in. bamboo skewers in water 10 min.; drain. Cut beef steak into 16- 1-1/4 in. pieces.
- Alternately thread beef and onion pieces evenly onto skewers. Set aside.
- Combine preserves, vinegar, oil, garlic, 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper in small bowl; reserve 1/4 c. for dipping. Brush kabobs with some of remaining sauce.
- Place kabobs on grid over med., ash-covered coals. Grill, covered, about 7-9 min. for medium-rare to med. doneness, turning and basting with sauce every 2 min.
- Season kabobs with salt, as desired. Serve with reserved sauce for dipping.
- Tip: This recipe is an excellent source of protein, niacin, vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and zinc, and a good source of iron.
